Reflections in a Coffeshop Window by Myron Joshua
Like the nuanced taste of a dark, rich brew: Speckled with the spicey hightones chocolatey flavors simmering below... So the coffee shop window, Where I stand pondering- letting memories surface overturning the external reality.
The image of the fleeting bus.. a mere reflection of time past I was on that bus and caught a glimpse of the coffee shop ..a small shop almost unnoticed. Now I stand in front of the shop ..a temple of freedom, of rest And the bus...my vector, is no more than a mere reflection of time past ..almost unnoticed.
I wonder if she, on the bus, is peering out her window Watching me gaze into the coffe shop window... Remembering her... Wishing, hoping.
It is time to enter.. To sit, to sip, to wait... Almost unnoticed.
